Cremation Services

Academy Funerals is dedicated to delivering caring and compassionate cremation funeral services for all Brisbane families.

If you have chosen a cremation funeral instead of traditional funeral for your departed loved one, Academy Funerals will ensure your loved one is treated with utmost care and respect.

At Academy Funerals we are dedicated to delivering the highest quality and most affordable funeral services possible. As we are a family owned business, our many years of personal experience in comforting bereaved families has put us in a unique position to deliver a service of the highest quality.

Whether you’re planning in advance to protect your grieving loved ones from financial burden, or your need is immediate, we at Academy Funerals are prepared to offer you our compassion and the best possible support and guidance.

Cremation services are increasingly becoming popular in recent years. The cremation process, which is a separate process from the service, is a dignified yet cost-effective way of honouring your dearly departed loved one. Unlike a burial service, a cremation service need not be performed very soon after death. It can be held at a much later date, which allows for greater flexibility of schedule for everyone concerned.

Academy Funerals helps you to honour your loved one in a special and unique way. During the actual cremation process, you can rest assured that your loved one will be treated with utmost kindness, compassion, dignity and respect.

If you have questions or inquiry about cremation or any of our services, stop by to meet Ashley and Katrina, our professional and caring funeral directors to discuss about your needs or to view our facility.

Price Schedule (current from July 2017)

When calculating the cost of a funeral service, two main factors must be considered:

1. The coffin or casket. We offer a wide variety of caskets and coffins, with prices ranging from $600.00 to $15,000.00. Our median coffin price ranges from $700.00 to $1900.00. (See our Products page.)
2. Cremation fees in Southeast Queensland area, vary considerably. However, for the options below an average price has been determined to enable an accurate price to be supplied.
To make things easier, Academy Funerals have designed a number of options for both burial and cremation. These are fixed fees and include our professional services and the items listed within each option.
Please note that variances may occur if you wish to modify the type of coffin or casket that is included in your chosen option. Additional costs such as flowers etc are extras on top of the quoted prices unless they are mentioned in the option.
Please note that ALL prices are able to be negotiated with variances of product with the exception of Option 1 which is a fixed charge.
Consequently, the below options should not be viewed as the only choices available to families. Please contact us to discuss options outside of these listed.
