Malcolm passed away peacefully n the Redcliffe Hospital on Thursday 11th April 2019. At the time of his passing he was surrounded by the love of his family.

Malcolm was just 72 years of age at the time.

Malcolm will be deeply missed by his loving wife and soul mate Pat and their children – Katrina Tracy Michele and their partners.

Malcolm or granddad as he was better known will also be sadly missed by his adoring grandchildren Debra, Melissa, Shelby, Mitchell and Patrice.

At this time Malcolm’s family would like to thank the Doctors, Nurses and support staff of the Redcliffe Hospital for the care and attention that they showed to Malcolm and his family.

Malcolm was born in London. He immigrated to Australia with his wife of 6 weeks Pat in 1968.They had 3 daughters and 5 grandchildren.  He loved and was so very proud of each and every one of his family.

Malcolm’s family and friends are warmly invited to attend his celebration of life service that will be held in the chapel of the Great Northern Garden of Remembrance Crematorium 31/35 Tallowwood Drive Deception Bay on Thursday 18th April 2019 commencing 1pm.  Following this, to raise a glass at the Leagues club in Redcliffe.

 

MORSER Carol Jean

Originally from Concord West New South Wales and late of Nundah Queensland.

Carol passed away unexpectedly at her home in Nundah at the time of her passing Carol was just 79 years of age.

Carol has now re-joined her loving husband Don who passed before her.  Carol also leaves behind her darling daughter Jennifer and her partner Dominic.

Carol or Mama as she was better known will also be sadly missed by her grandson Edward who will forever remember her for the wonderful times they had together as well as the unconditional love that can only exist between a grandparent and grandchild.

Carol grew up with her brother Graham and their parents Jess and Rufus in Concord West.  She couldn’t wait to travel the world and lived in London and the USA before returning with Don to live in Victoria and then Queensland.

Carol’s family and friends are warmly invited to attend her celebration of life service that will be held in the Chapel of the Pinnaroo Crematorium 285 Grahams Road Bridgeman Downs (Within the grounds of the Pinnaroo Lawn Cemetery) on Thursday 11th April 2019 commencing at 11 am

Cayetana Roldan Ocheita de Morataya

Born in Guatemala City on the 7th of August 1931. As of late she lived in Brisbane, Australia with her son Cornelio Noe Morataya.  Cayetana passed away unexpectedly at her home on Wednesday 20th March 2019.  At the time of her passing Cayetana was only 87 years of age.

Cayetana has now re-joined the love of her life and soulmate Fleix who passed before her.  Cayetana will also be sadly missed by her loving children Cesar, Corneilo and their partners.

Our dearest Tana will also be deeply missed by her adoring grandchildren: Evelyn, Elvin, Cynthia, Alejandra, Felix, Uri, Cesar each of whom will have fond memories of her and the special bond that can only be felt between a grandchild and grandparent.

Cayetana will be privately cremated and a memorial service will be held in her honour on the 4th of April at Our Lady of Lourdes at Sunnybank.

She will forever be in everyone’s hearts.

Nace en la Ciudad de Guatemala el 7 de agosto de 1931, sus padres fueron VICTOR ROLDÀN CORDERO y JUANA OCHAITA, Nació en el seno de una familia muy pobre, creció junto a tres hermanos varones.  Desde niña tuvo que trabajar muy duro ayudando principalmente a su mamá.

Siendo una niña de 14 años comenzó a trabajar en el Instituto Para Señoritas Belén, allí aprendió el arte de la cocina, Luego trabajó con los Novella.

En 1951 se casó con ni padre, Félix de Jesús Morataya, y de esa unión nació mi Hermano Cornelio y yo (César).

Fue la madre más entregada a su hogar cuidando de sus hijos con gran Amor, ella nos enseñó desde que éramos niños a estar cerca de Dios, pudimos apreciar que ayudaba a quien se lo solicitara, visitando a los enfermos, aconsejando a niños para que fueran buenos hijos y buenos ciudadanos.

Fue muy emprendedora, puso sus negocios, con lo cual pudo sostenernos a nosotros y proporcionar los medios para poder estudiar.

Dios le proporcionó todas las virtudes ya que siempre fue JUSTA, BUENA, HONESTA, INTEGRA, DIGNA, HUMILDE y lo más importante siempre cerca de DIOS.

Originally from Kilkivan Queensland, and late of Rochedale.

Maureen passed away peacefully in the Logan Hospital on Saturday 23rd March 2019.  At the time of her passing Maureen was just 84 years of age.

Maureen leaves behind the love of her life and soulmate Ray and loving children Raymond and Pauline.

Maureen, or Grandma as she was better known, also leaves behind her adoring grandchildren Stephanie, Jasmine, Vernice, Jack and great grandchildren, Euna and Laurence; who will remember her for her generous and unconditional love, and her strong, bright and forthright personality.

Maureen was renowned as an avid gardener and her creative passion for arts, crafts and cooking were shared with her daughter and granddaughters alike.

Maureen was an adventurer from long ago and travelled far and wide connecting with family and attaining life long friendships she held very dearly. She had a deep sense of family and community, generous with her time and labour.

Maureen’s family and friends are warmly invited to attend her celebration of life service that will be held in the Chapel of the Mt Gravatt Crematorium 582 Mains Road Macgregor (Within the grounds of the Mt Gravatt Cemetery) on Tuesday 2nd April 2019 commencing at 11:00am.

Evelyn passed away peacefully on Friday 15 March 2019, at the young age of just 75 years

Evelyn leaves behind her loving children Nick and Janina and their partners, Ksenia and Justin.

Evelyn or “Omi” as she was better known also leaves behind her adoring grandchildren Daniel, Andreas, Aurelia, Dominic and Angelica who will forever remember her for the unconditional love that she gave to each of them.

At this time Evelyn’s family would like to thank the Doctors, Nurses and Carers of Villa Maria Nursing Home for the loving care and attention that they gave to make Evelyn’s final days as happy and peaceful as possible.

Enid “ Lorraine” passed away peacefully in the Greenslopes Private Hospital Greenslopes Brisbane on Wednesday 13th March 2019. At the time of her passing Enid Lorraine was just 98 years of age.

Enid “Lorraine” has left behind her loving children Lorraine, Marlene, Floyd and their partners and has now re-joined her other two children Darrel and Lyndel who passed before her.

Enid “Lorraine” or Nana or Great Nana as she was better known will also be sadly missed by her adoring grandchildren Heleena, John, Anthony, Donna, Brian, Peter, Greg, Craig, Paul, Casey, Deanne, Nathan, Carly, Tracy-Lee, Darrel, (Dec) and Tory and great grandchildren Jessica, Brayden, Shyla, Evie, Zahn, Sunny, Astra, Tyronne, Brycen, Tiarne, Keegan, Teal, Paige, Chloe, Cory, Hope, Chase, Sienna, Zac, Chelsea, Jared, Shauntaine, Kaycee, Hunter, Summer, Natalie, Joshua, Zachary, Jake, Clair, Illiana, Khyle, Jordan, Jake, Lachlan, Indiana, Rhyder, Jett,

The bond that makes each child feel special. While at the same time lovingly crafting a blanket or jumper to comfort them

SHEPHERD Margaret Wynter

Our dear wife, mother, aunt, sister and friend was born in Mt Isa and lived a full and happy life in country New South Wales and Queensland.

Following family tradition Margaret attended Australia’s oldest Anglican school for girls St Catherine’s School in Waverley, Sydney. She attended finishing school in Kirribilli and then commenced her nursing training at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Sydney in 1950. Following her training Margaret nursed in Forbes, New South Wales.

Margaret married Richard Reid Breckenridge at 24 and lived happily on the family property Wando, near Winton, until his tragic and untimely death in 1963.

She and her three young children David, Tony and Shirley then moved to Cowra in Central New South Wales to be close to family and friends and rebuild their lives. After five years in Cowra she courted and married Lex Shepherd in 1969.

Margaret, Lex and the children moved to a beautiful property, Lincoln Park west of Dalby, Queensland to commence family life in 1969. Their daughter, Jennifer, arrived two years later to complete their family.

A superb cook, gardener and homemaker Margaret dedicated years of service to the St John’s Anglican Church in Dalby teaching Sunday School, Religious Education, leading women’s Bible Study groups and in her roles as Secretary or President of the Mothers’ Union. She was known as a gracious and loving lady sharing her wisdom and love with anyone who needed support.

She and Lex retired to Buderim in 2010 where she enjoyed her final years gardening, singing with Lex and spending time with her beloved family.

After more than 49 years of happy marriage Margaret passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family at Buderim Views Aged Care on Friday 15th March 2019.  At the time of her passing Margaret was 87 years of age.

Margaret will be deeply missed by her husband and soulmate Lex and her loving children, David, Tony, Shirley, Jennifer and their partners.

Margaret or “Mama” as she was better known will also be sadly missed by her adoring grandchildren James, Claire, Alex, Reid, Charlie and Nina. They will always remember her for the unconditional love that can only exist between a grandmother and grandchild.

At this time Margaret’s family would like to extend a heart felt thank you to the Doctors, Nurses and Support staff at Buderim Views Aged Care for the amazing love that they so freely gave to Margaret and her family in her final years. The dedicated love and assistance they gave to make Margaret’s passing as peaceful and happy as possible was outstanding.

Margaret’s family and friends are respectfully invited to attend her life celebration service that will be held at St Mark’s Anglican Church 7-17 Main Street Buderim Queensland Tuesday 19th March 2019.  Margaret’s service will commence at 2:00pm and will be followed by a light afternoon tea.

Steven passed away unexpectedly at his home in Windsor, Brisbane, 6th March 2019.  At the time of his passing Steven was only 36 years of age.

Steven will be sadly missed by his parents, Mark and Bridgette, his brothers Christopher and David and his sister Candace, his extended family and loved ones.

Steven holds a special place in our hearts and with his passing comes the heartache and sorrow that is left behind due to his early departure from this life. There is no explanation, no words of comfort that can minimise what his untimely death means to us.

Mark, Bridgette, Christopher, Candace and David warmly invite all those who wish to pay their respects to Steven to attend his celebration of life service.
